CANOE TRIPS

A variety of day and weekend trips have been planned for the 2005 season.  Those wishing to participate are asked to contact the trip leader/organizer two weeks prior to the scheduled trip for details regarding, meeting place, time and skill level.  For safety, numbers may be limited.

Two club canoes are available for use on club outings at a fee of $5.00 per day/per person.  The trip leader will arrange for use of club canoes and assist with partners.  Weekend trip expenses are shared and a firm commitment is required!  Paddlers are required to wear Life Jackets/PFD on all club outings and follow water safety regulations!

Our club policy is that a life jacket must be worn while paddling. A Canoe falls under the "Small Vessel Regulation" of the office of boating safety, which is under the umbrella of the Canadian Coast Guard.
